Getting from Elafonisos to Antiparos
If you are heading to Antiparos from Elafonisos you are making your way from a small island off the southern Peloponnese coast to a small island just off the western coast of Paros in the Cyclades, on the opposite side of Greece. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.
Take the ferry
Elafonisos has no ferry connection to the wider Greek ferry network. The only ferry from Elafonisos is the short 10 minute crossing to Pounta on the southern Peloponnese, which runs every 30 minutes in summer. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting there means taking the ferry from Elafonisos to Pounta, driving north to Piraeus and boarding the Piraeus to Paros ferry, which runs multiple times daily in summer, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta on Paros.
Getting there by air
Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Elafonisos has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens, around 3.5 to 4 hours by car from Pounta. Taking the ferry from Elafonisos to Pounta, driving north to Piraeus and taking the ferry to Paros, before crossing to Antiparos from Pounta, gives a total journey time of around 8 to 10 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

If you are traveling with a car, the Pounta to Antiparos ferry on Paros takes vehicles across.
