Getting from Paros to Katerini

If you are heading to Katerini from Paros you are making your way to a city at the foot of Mount Olympus on the Pierian coast of northern Greece.

There is no ferry from Paros to Katerini. It is a mainland city with no connection to the Cyclades ferry network.

Getting there by air

Katerini has no airport. The nearest airport is Thessaloniki, around 70 kilometres to the north. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Thessaloniki takes around 55 minutes, followed by a bus or drive to Katerini taking around 1 hour. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours.

Fly to Thessaloniki via Athens and take the bus or drive south to Katerini. The KTEL bus from Thessaloniki to Katerini runs regularly and takes around 1 hour.
