Getting from Tinos to Paros

If you are heading to Paros from Tinos you are making your way from the most venerated pilgrimage island in the Cyclades to the hub of the same island group, to the south. It has one of the most beautiful small harbour villages in Greece at Naoussa, long sandy beaches on the west coast and a position at the centre of the island ferry network.

Take the ferry

There is a direct ferry from Tinos to Paros running several times daily in summer, taking around 1.5 to 2.5 hours. It is one of the most natural connections in the Cyclades and keeps the journey entirely within the island group without going through Athens or Piraeus. The service connects Tinos southward through the central Cyclades via Mykonos and Naxos before reaching Paros, making it a straightforward and enjoyable island hop. Note that Paros National Airport has no commercial scheduled flights operating in 2026.

Getting there by air

Paros has a small airstrip but no commercial scheduled flights in 2026. Tinos has no airport. The nearest airport is Mykonos. The direct ferry connection is the most practical and enjoyable approach for this island hop within the same island group. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the direct ferry from Tinos to Paros. It is the most natural and direct connection and keeps the journey entirely within the Cyclades. Check the schedule before traveling as departure times vary by season. Book ahead in July and August as Paros is one of the most popular islands in the Cyclades and accommodation fills up fast. If you are traveling with a car the conventional ferry takes your vehicle directly to Parikia port.
