She released her debut album, "Mystika Tragoudia," in 1991, followed by "Tis Meras kai tis Nychtas" (1992). Her collaboration with Sokratis Malamas on "Tha Valo Ta Metaxota" became one of her defining early hits. She continued performing alongside major Greek artists including George Dalaras, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Haris Alexiou, and Nikos Xydakis, and completed her first European tour. Her subsequent albums include "Aromata Anti Gia Nafthalini" (1995, accompanied by a successful U.S. tour), "Tis Agapis Gerakaris" (1996, with Thanasis Papakonstantinou), "Gennaioi Erotes" (1997), and "Lafyra" (1998), followed by successful tours across Germany. She participated in Mikis Theodorakis's large-scale tribute production "From the Theatre and the Cinema" and performed at various world music festivals. In 2000, German label Network released a compilation of her best-loved songs, "Melina Kana Portrait." In more recent years, she has continued releasing music, collaborating with composer Themis Karamouratidis on the single "Spitha."
