About Stefania

Early Life

Stefania, born Stefania Liberakakis on December 17, 2002, in Utrecht, Netherlands, was born to Greek parents, Koula and Spyros Liberakakis, whose family originates from Thourio and Sofiko in Evros, Greece. She is the niece of Greek actor Yannis Stankoglou. In 2013, she competed in the third season of the Dutch edition of The Voice Kids.

Musical Style & Sound

Stefania performs pop, building a career that spans music, voice acting, and content creation. Her sound leans toward contemporary European pop production, reflecting her dual Dutch and Greek upbringing rather than traditional Laïko or Greek folk influences.

Career Rise

Stefania was internally selected to represent the Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2016 as part of the girl group Kisses, performing "Kisses and Dancin'" and placing eighth of seventeen entries. In February 2020, Greek broadcaster ERT announced her as Greece's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Supergirl," but that edition was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was carried over to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 instead, releasing the song "Last Dance" in March 2021 and finishing tenth in the final. Beyond music, she has built a career as a voice actress and YouTuber.
