It features fine sand and very clear shallow waters that are protected from the northern winds, making it a choice for families with children. The beach is largely unorganized, providing a peaceful retreat away from the busier spots of the island. The surrounding cliffs offer a sheltered and intimate atmosphere for swimmers. It is a destination for those who want to enjoy the natural and quiet side of the Aegean. The water is refreshing and the seabed is mostly sandy with some small pebbles. There are no facilities or shops on the sand, so you must bring your own food and water. It is a spot where you can experience the silence of the island and the bright light of the sun. The entry into the water is gentle.
