Agios Ioannis Beach is a quiet and beautiful beach located on the southern coast of Serifos, accessible via a dirt road from the port of Livadi. It features a shore of fine sand and pebbles with exceptionally clear turquoise water that is a choice for families. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a traditional taverna that offers local food right by the sea. Large tamarisk trees provide natural shade along the shore. The water is clean and usually very calm because the bay is well-protected. It is a destination for those who want a more relaxed and private swimming experience away from the larger sandy stretches. The entry into the water is easy and the depth increases gradually. The surrounding landscape is dry and rugged, providing a soft frame to the blue sea. It is a spot where you can enjoy the sun in a romantic and well-designed setting. The atmosphere is quiet.
