Koutalas Beach is a wide and peaceful sandy bay on the southwestern coast of Serifos, characterized by its unique spoon-like shape and its rich history of iron mining. It features a shore of fine sand and colorful pebbles with calm turquoise water that is well-protected from the seasonal winds by the high surrounding hills. The beach is partially organized with some tamarisk trees providing natural shade and a traditional taverna that is famous for its local meze.
