About the Beach

Alyki Beach is a charming and very popular sandy shore on the southern coast of Serifos, located just around the headland from the port of Livadi and known for its exceptionally clear turquoise water and its relaxed social atmosphere. It features a shore of fine golden sand and small pebbles, backed by several traditional tavernas and small guest houses that offer a comfortable and domestic environment for a diverse, international crowd. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and is shaded by numerous large tamarisk trees that provide a fresh and natural environment for a long afternoon soak in the sun. It is a destination for those who want a simple and authentic beach experience that is easily accessible but feels removed from the busier commercial sections of the harbor area.
