Didymes Beach is a spectacular twin cove located on the northeastern coast of Patmos, featuring two identical crescent shores separated by a small rocky peninsula. It features a mix of fine sand and small pebbles with exceptionally clear turquoise water that remains calm in the protected bays. The beach is entirely unorganized and maintains a raw, peaceful character that is a choice for those seeking silence and natural beauty away from the port. Large tamarisk trees provide the only source of natural shade along the back of the shore. The water is deep and fresh, offering a high-quality environment for a long swim in a scenic setting.
