About the Beach

Drakei is a remote village on the northwest coast of Samos that serves as the gateway to some of the island wilder beaches. While there is no major beach in the village itself, the coastline below features small rocky coves with deep blue water. It is the starting point for a scenic walk to the Megalo and Mikro Seitani beaches, which are protected natural areas with white sand and turquoise water. The atmosphere is raw and quiet, as the village is the most remote on the island. It is a destination for nature lovers and hikers who want to explore the rugged canyons and the monk seal habitats. The views of the Aegean and the nearby islands are a feature of this location. You must bring your own supplies as there are no facilities on the remote beaches. It is a sanctuary for those who value silence.
