About the Beach

Fourni is a small and peaceful pebbly beach nestled below the castle of Monolithos on the western coast of Rhodes. It features crystal clear water and a rugged landscape that reflects the wild and natural beauty of the island. The sea can be rough on this side of the island, so it is a spot for strong swimmers and not ideal for small children. There are limited facilities with a few sunbeds and a small canteen, but much of the beach remains unorganized. You can see unusual rock carvings and caves to explore nearby. It is a destination for those who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy a day trip to a remote location. The path to the beach is steep and requires some physical effort. It is a sanctuary for nature lovers who appreciate the power of the sea.
