About the Beach

Kalo Livadi Beach is a wide and impressive sandy shore on the eastern coast of Serifos, located in a large bay that offers a peaceful alternative to the busier port beaches of the island. It features fine golden sand and deep turquoise water that is exceptionally clean, surrounded by a dry and rocky Cycladic landscape that provides a sense of space and natural power. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and is located near a traditional taverna that offers local meze and fresh fish in a relaxed setting. It is a destination for those who appreciate a more simple and authentic beach experience where you can still find plenty of free space to set up your own umbrella. The water is fresh and the depth increases at a moderate pace, providing an invigorating environment for a long swim. Access is via a comfortable paved road, making it an easy trip from the main settlements. The atmosphere is quiet and reflects the slow rhythm of island life during the summer.
