About the Beach

Kentarchos Beach is a remote and stunningly beautiful cove on the northeastern coast of Serifos, accessible only by boat or a long and challenging hike through a steep ravine. It features a shore of fine white pebbles and intense turquoise water that is deep and fresh, making it a premier spot for those seeking total isolation in the Cyclades. The beach is entirely unorganized and maintains a raw, pristine character, surrounded by high rocky cliffs and low Mediterranean vegetation. It is a destination for nature lovers and adventurers who want to experience the island in its most natural and silent form away from the busier resort areas. The water is exceptionally clean and provides a high-quality environment for snorkeling along the rocky edges of the bay. There are no facilities or trees for natural shade, so you must be prepared with all your own water and supplies for the day. The entry into the water is via the smooth stones and the clarity is consistently high. The atmosphere is quiet and reflects the wild nature of the coast. It is a hidden gem.
