About the Beach

Psili Ammos is a remote and beautiful beach located on the eastern coast of Naxos. It features fine golden sand and very clear turquoise water that is shallow and calm. Because it is far from the main town and reached by a long road, it remains a quiet sanctuary for those who want to escape the busy tourist areas. There are no sunbeds or umbrellas here, which preserves its natural character. A small forest of cedar trees grows along the shore, providing a place for natural shade. The surrounding landscape is dry and quiet, offering a sense of total freedom. It is a destination for nature lovers who enjoy the silence of the sea and the light of the sun. The water is exceptionally clean and inviting for a long soak. You must bring your own food and water because there are few facilities nearby. It is a spot where you can feel the traditional soul of the island.
