About the Beach

Ramos Beach is a charming and very peaceful sandy shore on the southern coast of Serifos, located in the large bay of Livadi just a short distance from the main port. It features fine golden sand and exceptionally clear, shallow turquoise water that remains well-protected from the strong northern winds by the surrounding hills. The beach is largely unorganized and maintains a quiet, domestic character, with several large tamarisk trees providing a generous amount of natural shade along the back of the shore. It is a destination for those who want a simple and relaxed swim in a beautiful setting that is easily accessible but feels removed from the busier commercial sections of the harbor. The water is consistently calm and the entry is very easy and sandy for all swimmers, making it a safe and practical choice for a morning dip or a long afternoon soak. Access is very easy on foot or by bicycle from the port of Livadi, making it a favorite for those who appreciate local charm. There are several small guest houses and traditional tavernas located nearby, providing a friendly and welcoming backdrop to the sea. The atmosphere is quiet and reflects the slow and traditional rhythm of the island life. It is a part of the coast.
