Red Beach is one of the most famous and visually striking locations on Santorini, located near the ancient site of Akrotiri. It features a shore of red volcanic pebbles and sand, framed by massive red cliffs that tower over the sea. The water is clear turquoise and provides a beautiful contrast to the deep red of the rocks. Access is via a short but rugged path from the parking area, and visitors are often warned about the potential for falling rocks from the cliffs.
