About the Beach
Sarpas Beach is a small, quiet beach located at the southern tip of the island, just a short distance past the village of Perdika. It is tucked away in a small bay that keeps the water remarkably calm and clear, making it a favorite for those who prefer a more secluded feel than the busier town beaches. The shore is a mix of sand and fine pebbles, and the view across the water toward the nearby islet of Moni is one of the best on the island. Because it is surrounded by low hills and dry landscape, it feels like a real escape from the more developed areas. It is a great beach if you want to spend a day in a relaxed, natural environment while still being close enough to a village for a meal afterward.
