About the Beach
Sikamia South Cove Beach is a wild and remote beach located on the northern coast of Serifos, known for its expansive shore and deep blue water. It features a mix of sand and pebbles, with large tamarisk trees providing the only source of natural shade in an otherwise rugged landscape. The beach is entirely unorganized and maintains a raw character that reflects the untamed nature of the Cyclades. Access is via a winding road that offers panoramic views of the sea, followed by a short walk to the water. The water is exceptionally clean and fresh, though it is often subject to the strong northern meltemi winds which can create large waves. It is a destination for nature lovers and adventurers who want to experience the silence and the immensity of the Aegean. You must bring all your own water and food for the day as there are no facilities. The entry into the water is pebbly and gets deep relatively quickly. It is a part of the coast that feels largely untouched.
