About the Beach

Soulanena Beach is a small and very quiet pebbly beach located on the eastern coast of Paxos, tucked away from the main tourist routes. It features a shore of white stones and exceptionally clear turquoise water that is usually very calm. The beach is entirely unorganized and retains a raw, natural character, surrounded by olive groves that reach almost to the edge of the sea. It is a destination for those who want to find a private and silent corner of the Ionian. The water is fresh and the visibility is excellent for snorkeling along the rocky seabed. Access is via a small path, which helps keep the beach uncrowded even in the peak of summer. It is a spot for nature lovers who appreciate the simple beauty of the coast. You must bring all your own water and food for the day as there are no facilities. The entry into the water is via the pebbles, so care is needed. It is a part of the coast that offers a sense of total freedom.
