About the Beach

Mogonisi is the only sandy beach on the island of Paxos, located on a small islet that is connected by a bridge to the southern tip. The water is shallow and very calm because the bay is well-protected, making it a choice for families and for those who enjoy easy swimming. The beach is organized with sunbeds and a popular taverna that serves local food. It is a social spot that attracts many sailors who anchor their boats in the safe harbor.
