About the Beach

Lakkos is a quiet pebbly beach on the eastern coast of Paxos, just a short walk from the village of Longos. It features clear emerald water and a shore made of white stones. The beach is unorganized and maintains a peaceful and traditional character, surrounded by dense olive groves and cypress trees that offer natural shade. The water is deep and fresh, making it a destination for those who enjoy long swims in a calm environment. Access is via a narrow path, which helps keep the area quiet even during the summer. It is a spot for nature lovers who value silence and the simple beauty of the Ionian sea. The entry into the water can be difficult because of the stones, so care is needed. It is a part of the coast that shows the green and blue soul of the island. You should bring your own snacks as there are no shops directly on the sand.
