Vagia Beach is an impressive and expansive sandy shore on the southern coast of Serifos, known for its deep turquoise water and the presence of fresh water springs beneath the sand. It features a wide stretch of fine golden sand and small pebbles, surrounded by a dramatic and rocky landscape that is designated as a protected natural area. The beach is partially organized with a few sunbeds and a stylish beach bar, but most of the shore remains free for those who prefer a more natural experience. The water is exceptionally clean and deepens relatively quickly, providing an invigorating environment for a long swim. Access is via a comfortable road from the main port of Livadi. The surrounding hills feature the ruins of old mining structures, adding a sense of historical nostalgia to the beautiful scenery.
