Getting from Agistri to Antiparos

If you are heading to Antiparos from Agistri you are making your way from a small pine-covered island in the Saronic Gulf to a small island in the Cyclades, just off the western coast of Paros. It has a Venetian kastro village, good beaches and an atmosphere that rewards those who stay overnight rather than visiting on a day trip from Paros.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Agistri to Antiparos. Antiparos is accessible only via Paros, either by a 7 minute local ferry from Pounta on the western coast of Paros running every 30 minutes in summer, or by passenger boat from Parikia taking around 30 minutes. Getting to Paros from Agistri means taking the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus, which takes around 55 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes, and then boarding the Piraeus to Paros ferry, which runs multiple times daily in summer and takes around 3 to 5 hours.

Getting there by air

Antiparos has no airport. The nearest airport is Paros, though no commercial scheduled flights operate there in 2026. Taking the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus, the metro to Athens Airport and flying is not a practical option for this route given there are no flights to Paros. The ferry from Piraeus to Paros followed by the short crossing to Antiparos is the only realistic approach.

Your best option

Take the Saronic ferry from Agistri to Piraeus and board the Piraeus to Paros ferry, then cross to Antiparos from Pounta. The Pounta to Antiparos ferry runs every 30 minutes in summer, takes 7 minutes and carries vehicles. If you are traveling with a car, the conventional ferry from Piraeus takes your vehicle to Paros and you can drive across to Antiparos from Pounta.
