Getting from Antiparos to Oinousses

If you are heading to Oinousses from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to a small cluster of islands just off the northeastern coast of Chios in the northeastern Aegean. It has a naval tradition that produced a disproportionate share of Greece's great shipping dynasties and almost no tourist infrastructure.

Oinousses has no airport. The nearest airport is Chios. Antiparos has no airport either. Taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and flying to Chios via Athens, followed by the local ferry to Oinousses taking around 1 hour, gives a total journey time of around 7 to 8 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, make your way to Piraeus and fly to Chios via Athens, then take the local ferry across to Oinousses. Check the daily ferry schedule from Chios before booking your flights and plan your Chios arrival around the afternoon departure. Give yourself at least two nights on Oinousses and bring everything you need with you.
