Getting from Antiparos to Skiathos

If you are heading to Skiathos from Antiparos you are making your way from a small quiet island in the Cyclades to the most cosmopolitan of the Sporades group, in the northern Aegean. It has a lush green coastline, an international airport and some of the finest sandy beaches in the northern Aegean.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Antiparos to Skiathos. Antiparos is connected only to Paros by a 7 minute ferry from Pounta running every 30 minutes in summer. Getting to Skiathos by sea means taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and then driving to Volos or Mantoudi in northern Evia for the ferry to Skiathos. Note that as of 2026 there are no departures from Agios Konstantinos to Skiathos.

Getting there by air

Skiathos has its own international airport with daily connections from Athens. Antiparos has no airport either. Taking the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, making your way to Piraeus and flying to Skiathos via Athens gives a total journey time of around 5 to 6 hours. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights.

Your best option

Take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, make your way to Piraeus and fly to Skiathos via Athens. It is the most time efficient approach. If you are traveling with a car, take the short ferry from Antiparos to Paros, drive to Volos or Mantoudi and take the ferry across to Skiathos from there.
