Getting from Paros to Kylini

If you are heading to Kylini from Paros you are making your way to a port town on the northwestern Peloponnese coast with a long sandy beach and the medieval castle of Chlemoutsi nearby, one of the best preserved Frankish fortifications in Greece.

 

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Paros to Kylini. It is a mainland port with no connection to the Cyclades ferry network. Getting there by sea means taking the ferry from Paros to Piraeus and then travelling by road to Kylini, which takes around 3 to 3.5 hours from Athens via Patras.

 

Getting there by air

Kylini has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then the drive to Kylini takes around 3 to 3.5 hours. Total travel time is around 5 to 6 hours.

 

Your best option

Fly to Athens and drive to Kylini. The drive from Athens via the E65 motorway through Corinth and Patras takes around 3 to 3.5 hours and is a straightforward journey.
