Getting from Paros to Fournoi
If you are heading to Fournoi from Paros you are making your way to a cluster of small fishing islands between Ikaria and Samos in the eastern Aegean, with excellent seafood, quiet beaches and almost no tourist infrastructure.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Paros to Fournoi. Getting there means either taking the seasonal direct ferry from Paros to Ikaria and then the short local ferry to Fournoi, or flying via Athens. The Paros to Ikaria seasonal service runs in summer and takes around 3 to 5 hours.
Getting there by air
Fournoi has no airport. The nearest airports are Ikaria and Samos. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Ikaria takes around 50 minutes, followed by the local ferry to Fournoi taking under 1 hour. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours.
Your best option
Take the seasonal ferry from Paros to Ikaria when it is running and cross to Fournoi from there. If the direct service is not available for your dates, fly to Ikaria via Athens and take the local ferry across. Give yourself at least two nights on Fournoi and come prepared as facilities on the island are limited.
