Getting from Paros to Serifos
If you are heading to Serifos from Paros you are going to one of the most rewarding islands in the western Cyclades, a rugged and hilly island with a Chora that climbs a steep hill above the port in a way that looks almost impossibly dramatic from the water.
Take the ferry
There is a direct ferry from Paros to Serifos running several times a week in summer and less frequently in winter. The trip takes around 2 to 3 hours depending on the vessel and the stops along the way. Most sailings route through Naxos or Milos. Check the schedule before planning around it as the frequency is limited outside of peak summer.
Getting there by air
Serifos has no airport. The nearest airport is Athens. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then the ferry from Piraeus to Serifos takes around 3 hours on the fast service. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours but adds significant complexity compared to the direct ferry.
Your best option
Take the direct ferry from Paros when the schedule works for your dates. It is the most practical and enjoyable approach. If the timing does not align, fly to Athens and take the ferry from Piraeus.
