Getting from Paros to Santorini
If you are heading to Santorini from Paros you are making one of the most popular hops in the Cyclades, from the group's central hub to the most iconic island in Greece.
Take the ferry
The Paros to Santorini ferry runs year-round with multiple daily departures in summer. The trip takes around 2 hours on the fast catamaran and around 3 to 4 hours on a conventional vessel. It is one of the most heavily served routes in the Cyclades and you rarely need to book far in advance except on peak summer weekends. Book ahead in July and August.
Getting there by air
Both Paros and Santorini have airports. There are no direct flights between the two islands. In Greece, airlines do not operate direct inter island flights. The ferry is the obvious and more practical choice on this route.
Your best option
Take the ferry. It is direct, frequent and the arrival into Athinios port with the caldera above is one of the great Cycladic arrivals. Check the schedule and pick the departure that works for you.
