Getting from Paros to Anafi
If you are heading to Anafi from Paros you are making your way to one of the most remote islands in the Cyclades, a small island just east of Santorini with a monolithic rock rising 460 metres from the sea and almost no tourist infrastructure.
Take the ferry
There is a direct seasonal ferry from Paros to Anafi running in summer, taking around 4 to 5 hours and stopping at Naxos and Santorini along the way. The route is not year-round and the frequency is limited so check the schedule before planning around it. Outside of the summer season the connection goes via Piraeus or Santorini.
Getting there by air
Anafi has no airport. The nearest airport is Santorini. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Santorini takes around 45 minutes, followed by the short ferry to Anafi taking around 1 hour 15 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours.
Your best option
Take the direct summer ferry when it is running. If the direct service is not available for your dates, fly to Santorini via Athens and take the short ferry across to Anafi.
