Getting from Paros to Kimolos
If you are heading to Kimolos from Paros you are making your way to one of the quietest and most authentic islands in the Cyclades, a small white island just off the northwestern tip of Milos with beaches that see a fraction of the crowds found anywhere nearby.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Paros to Kimolos. The most practical approach is to take the ferry from Paros to Milos, which runs several times daily in summer and takes around 2 to 3 hours, and then cross to Kimolos from there on the short local ferry taking around 25 minutes.
Getting there by air
Kimolos has no airport. The nearest airport is Milos, which has connections from Athens. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Milos takes around 45 minutes, followed by the short ferry to Kimolos taking around 25 minutes. Total travel time adds significant complexity compared to the direct ferry route via Milos.
Your best option
Take the ferry from Paros to Milos and cross to Kimolos from there. It is the most practical and enjoyable approach and avoids going through Athens entirely.
