Getting from Paros to Parga
If you are heading to Parga from Paros you are making your way to a Venetian-built harbour town on the Epirus coast facing the Ionian Sea, with good beaches and a relaxed waterfront atmosphere.
Take the ferry
There is no direct ferry from Paros to Parga. It is a mainland coastal town with no connection to the Cyclades ferry network. Getting there by sea means taking the ferry from Paros to Piraeus and then travelling by road northwest to Parga, which takes around 5 to 6 hours from Athens.
Getting there by air
Parga has no airport. The nearest airport is Preveza, around 65 kilometres south. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Preveza takes around 50 minutes, followed by a taxi or bus to Parga taking around 1 hour. Total travel time is around 4 to 5 hours.
Your best option
Fly to Preveza via Athens and take a taxi or bus to Parga. It is the fastest and most practical approach from Paros.
