Getting from Paros to Skiathos

If you are heading to Skiathos from Paros you are making your way from the Cyclades to the most cosmopolitan of the Sporades, a small pine-covered island with over 60 beaches and a lively harbour town.

Take the ferry

There is no direct ferry from Paros to Skiathos. The two islands sit in different parts of Greece and are not connected by sea. Getting there means going through Athens first, either by flying or by taking the ferry to Piraeus and then travelling by road to Agios Konstantinos for the Sporades ferry, which takes around 3.5 hours to Skiathos.

Getting there by air

Both Paros and Skiathos have airports. Flying from Paros to Athens takes around 45 minutes and then Athens to Skiathos takes around 45 minutes. Total travel time is around 3 to 4 hours.

Your best option

Fly to Skiathos via Athens. It is the most time efficient approach and the 45 minute flight from Athens is one of the shorter domestic hops in Greece. The airport is 2 kilometres from the town centre so you are on the island quickly after landing.
