Getting from Tilos to Leros
If you are heading to Leros from Tilos you are making your way from a volcanic island in the southern Dodecanese to one of the most atmospheric islands in the northern part of the same group. It has a striking Art Deco Italian colonial port at Lakki and a medieval castle above the main town of Platanos.
Take the ferry
There is a direct ferry connection from Tilos to Leros via the Blue Star and Dodecanese Seaways routes running through the Dodecanese network. Getting there means taking the ferry from Tilos to Kos, which takes around 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 35 minutes and runs 4 to 7 days per week, and then continuing on the same ferry network north to Leros, which takes around 2 to 3 hours more.
