Paschalis Terzis is one of the most beloved figures in Greek music, known for his warm, powerful baritone and his humble, "man of the people" persona. Rising from the nightlife of Thessaloniki, he became a national superstar in the 1990s, delivering a string of multi-platinum albums. His voice is considered the gold standard for modern Laïkó. Although he retired from active performing in the early 2010s for health reasons, his 2025 digital anthology release broke streaming records, and by 2026, he remains a revered figure whose songs are mandatory at any Greek gathering.
