About the Beach

Almyropotamos is a very charming and friendly seaside village that offers a much calmer, more protected swimming experience. The beach is located in a deep bay on the gulf side, so the water is always warm and smooth as silk, making it ideal for young kids or anyone who isn't a fan of waves. The waterfront is lined with a long row of tavernas and cafes where you can sit with your feet almost in the water while you eat. It has a very classic, nostalgic Greek resort feel, where life moves at a slow and easy pace. It’s a very practical and comfortable place to spend a day, especially since everything you need is just a few steps away. The sunset over the mountains of the mainland across the water is a beautiful way to end the day.
