About the Beach

Kavos is for the travelers who want to feel like they’ve reached the very edge of the map. Located at the southernmost tip of the island near the Mandili lighthouse, it’s a rugged and remote area where the land finally gives way to the sea. The water is exceptionally clear and feels incredibly fresh, though the currents here can be quite strong since you’re right at the entrance of the strait. It’s not a place for rows of umbrellas; it’s a rocky, wild landscape where you can find small pockets of sand and pebbles to call your own. The silence is only broken by the sound of the wind and the waves. It’s a spectacular spot for snorkeling or just sitting on the rocks and watching the big ships pass by in the distance.
