About the Beach

Arkoudilas Beach is a remote and wild coastal sanctuary located at the southernmost tip of Corfu below the ruins of a historic monastery featuring a landscape of high, vertical clay cliffs and a long, narrow strip of fine sand that is exposed to the open sea and the southern winds in an environment that is entirely primitive and unorganized without any modern facilities or shade providing a sense of total isolation where the natural erosion of the cliffs creates a sculptural backdrop and the absence of crowds makes it a favored destination for those seeking the islands rawest and most untamed wilderness.
