About the Beach

Issos Beach is a vast and cinematic coastal stretch located on the southwestern coast of Corfu adjacent to the Korission lagoon featuring a landscape of enormous rolling sand dunes and a forest of cedar trees that creates a Sahara-like environment which has famously served as a filming location for international cinema in a partially organized setting that provides a sense of immense space and natural grandeur where the shallow waters and constant summer breezes make it a premier destination for windsurfing and kiteboarding while the lack of dense development preserves the raw and primitive feeling of the southern coast.
