About the Beach

Camel is a beautiful and somewhat secluded sandy beach located in a steep-sided bay between Kardamena and Kefalos. It is named after a rock formation in the area that resembles a camel, adding a unique landmark to the rugged coastal scenery. The sand is fine and the water is deep and incredibly clear, making it a fantastic spot for snorkeling along the rocky edges of the cove. Access involves a steep drive down to the shore, which helps keep the beach quieter than the more accessible neighbors.
