Agios Fokas is a beautiful and very quiet beach located on the southeastern tip of Kos, known for its deep, clear water and its mix of dark sand and pebbles. It offers a much more peaceful and refined atmosphere compared to the bustling beaches closer to the main town. The water is exceptionally clean and provides a refreshing, invigorating swim with spectacular views across the channel to the Turkish coast. There are several well-organized sections with comfortable sunbeds and high-quality beach bars that blend into the natural environment. It is a fantastic spot to enjoy the sunrise or a late afternoon swim when the light turns the sea a deep, rich blue. The surrounding landscape is arid and rugged, typical of the Dodecanese, offering a sense of space and tranquility.
