About the Beach

Damatria is a peaceful and very scenic beach located on the southern part of the island, known for its unique white clay rocks and exceptionally clear, shallow water. It features a mix of sand and fine pebbles and is often much quieter than the neighboring beaches of the airport area. The water is a bright turquoise color that looks like a tropical lagoon, and the seabed is sandy and very easy to walk on. There are no major facilities or loud music here, so the vibe remains very natural and relaxed. A few small trees along the back of the shore offer some natural shade for those who arrive early. It is a fantastic spot for snorkeling, as the water is still and the visibility is world-class. It is an ideal destination for travelers who want a high-quality swimming environment in a quiet and visually striking setting that feels untouched.
