About the Beach

Potali is a long and relaxed beach located on the west coast, just south of the popular village of Lefkos. It features a mix of pebbles and sand and is known for its clear water and wide-open views of the sunset. Unlike the smaller coves in Lefkos, Potali is much more spacious and quiet, providing a more laid-back energy. It is well-organized with several traditional tavernas and small hotels located right across the road. The water gets deep relatively quickly, making it a great place for a serious swim. It is a friendly and accessible destination that captures the easy-going spirit of the island's western side. The view of the small islet of Sokastro in the distance adds a beautiful focal point to the horizon, especially as the light begins to fade.
