About the Beach

Erimitis is a dramatic and spectacular beach on the western coast of Paxos, formed by a cliff collapse many years ago. It features white pebbles and an intense, electric blue water that is exceptionally clear. The beach is framed by massive white cliffs that provide a grand and powerful backdrop. It is an unorganized destination that requires a walk down a steep path to reach the shore. The views of the sunset from this part of the island are a feature that attracts many visitors. The water is deep and provides an invigorating swimming experience. It is a spot for those who appreciate the raw and majestic side of the Ionian coastline.
