Giosonas Beach is an expansive and wild coastal area on the northern coast of Chios situated at the foot of Mount Pelinnaio where the landscape is defined by its massive scale and a shoreline of smooth pebbles that stretches for several hundred meters in a primitive environment that features a dramatic gorge and a seasonal beach bar while remaining a sanctuary for those who appreciate the raw natural power of the North Aegean where the mountains descend sharply into the sea creating a grand and imposing coastal scene named after the legendary leader of the Argonauts.
