Gouvon Beach is a peaceful and very clean sandy beach located on the northern coast of Evia that is a favorite for families because it has no big stones or sharp pebbles on the shore. The water is very clear and stays shallow for quite a distance, which means it is very safe for children to play in the gentle waves while their parents relax on the soft sand. It is an organized beach with comfortable sunbeds and umbrellas, and the surrounding area has many small hotels and supermarkets that make it a very easy place to stay for a long vacation. The atmosphere is very laid back and quiet compared to the bigger cities, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy the natural beauty of the northern part of the island where the forest meets the sea.
