About the Beach

Kanatadika Beach is a very long and serene beach located at the northernmost tip of Evia, where the Aegean Sea meets the North Evian Gulf in a beautiful display of coastal geography. The beach is famous for its proximity to a protected wetland and lagoon, which means that the area is teeming with birdlife and natural beauty that is quite different from other parts of the island. The shoreline itself is a mix of sand and pebbles, and because the beach is so incredibly long, it never feels crowded even during the busiest parts of the summer season. The water is clean and inviting, and there are several excellent seafood tavernas along the coastal road that are famous for their local specialties.
