About the Beach

Markos is a lovely and relatively quiet sandy beach located on the southern coast of the Kefalos peninsula, offering a more intimate alternative to its famous neighbor, Paradise Beach. It features the same high-quality golden sand and exceptionally clear, shallow water that the area is known for. The beach is partially organized with sunbeds and a small, friendly canteen that serves basic refreshments. Because it is slightly less promoted than the major resorts, it maintains a very relaxed and easy-going vibe that is popular with locals and travelers seeking a bit more privacy. The entry into the water is very smooth and sandy, providing a safe and comfortable environment for children to play. It is a fantastic spot for a long, quiet day under the sun where you can truly appreciate the beauty of the coastline without the crowds. The water clarity here is truly world-class.
