About the Beach

Kanoni is a very popular and vibrant beach located just a few kilometers from Mytilene, the capital of Lesvos. It features a pebbly shore and very clear, deep water that is exceptionally refreshing. The beach is well-known for its social and energetic atmosphere, as it is lined with some of the island's most famous beach bars and cafes that stay busy from morning until late at night. It is a well-organized destination with numerous sunbeds and umbrellas, making it a very practical and fun choice for those who want to be close to the action. Despite its proximity to the city, the water remains clean and very inviting for a quick dip. It is a fantastic spot for meeting people and enjoying a cosmopolitan seaside experience with great music and food. The entry into the water is a bit rocky, so it is best for confident swimmers.
